During the XII Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies organized by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliarSE), O-I Americas Central received the distinction of Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR).

For the third year in a row, our Mexico locations were recognized with this prestigious honor, which represents a recognition to the projects carried out in our company on the matters of business ethics, environment, community bonding, quality of life at work, as well as, the management of social responsibility.

“Being a Socially Responsible Company is a commitment to continuous improvement as an organization and with all our stakeholders so together we can create a positive impact on society. I extend this recognition to the entire team that contributed to improving each of the areas that have allowed us to achieve this important recognition”, said Javier Uriegas, Director of HR, O-I Americas Central.

O-I Mexico will continue working to evolve in this field and further align to O-I’s sustainability objectives.

About the Event
